Stan VanDerBeek - Science Friction So it’s another night sitting awake wishing I was more creative. So I go to my favorite avant-guarde art archive, ubuweb (www.ubu.com), close my eyes and click. I get a collection of some art films by some journalist something. So after a few minutes (about one) of watching a camera on a tripod pointed across a busy highway, I backclick and try again. I stumble upon a man by the name of Stan VanDerBeek. The name sounds familliar, but don’t recall. Anyway, I have found my new favorite collage artist. I’m a big fan of line structure.
